Description: Holbrook Indian School is seeking to hire a Content Acquisitions and Social Media Coordinator.
Responsibilities include planning, writing, and publishing various types of content for Holbrook Indian School’s web pages; articles, grants, and social media posts; produce marketing copy to advertise our school; write blog posts and articles in various publications; develop, implement, and manage social media accounts; editor of the HIS monthly newsletter; organize online giving campaigns (#GivingTuesday); measure web traffic to content; collaborate with our marketing team for various projects; photograph and film school-related events for promotion; other duties as assigned. This is a full time, 12 month, hourly position. Job is open until filled.
HIS is an accredited 1-12th grade boarding school operated directly by the Pacific Union Conference. As such, faculty and staff members receive remuneration and benefits according to the policies employed by all schools in the Pacific Union. As in many other SDA boarding schools, employees live in on-campus housing. The average student population at HIS is 72 students, split evenly between 1-8th and 9-12th grades, with an additional 10-12 students at our one-teacher school in Chinle, Arizona.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field preferred.
Experience in Indesign, Lightroom, and other related programs.
Working-knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices.
Experience in web design and publishing.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
