Description: Southwestern Adventist University is seeking a Vice President for Academic Administration (VPAA). We desire a colleague with both academic and administrative experience whose professional and spiritual journey will complement the University’s mission, vision, and values.
The VPAA is responsible for administering academic policies; planning, implementing, and assessing academic programs; hiring and managing faculty; and reporting to accrediting agencies.
Experience: Applicants must have a strong commitment to Jesus Christ and the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church in good and regular standing, and have a desire to serve in a cooperative, spiritually redemptive, and soul-winning atmosphere.
Earned Doctorate degree
Administrative experience (Experience working with academic accreditation preferred)
Teaching and classroom instruction experience at the college level
