Description: Life Coaches will help develop students with academic advising, educational goals, soft skills and techniques to overcome barriers to success. The ICE Coordinator and Life Coach will provide both academic and non-academic strategies to new students in the Freshmen Enrichment (FE) and Integrated College Experience (ICE) programs to meet necessary prerequisites for college-level courses, as well as assist the Student Success team with retention and success.
This individual will be a partner in the implementation of strategic initiatives involving the retention, engagement, and graduation of students. The coach is responsible for the achievement of excellent services in coaching, academic advising, academic support skills and non-academic support tools for students meeting prerequisites for college-level courses.

Experience: Master’s degree in education or related field required.
3 years’ experience in higher education preferred.
Holds or able/willing to obtain life coach certification.
