Description: Wage Rate: Salary; Commensurate upon degree and experience (plus wage rate depending on degree and qualifications)
Manages the staff of the Custodial Department and provides direction. Assures staffing to maintain a clean safe environment on the campus. Demonstrates effective management and leadership skills in the operation of the department. Serves as a positive, progressive, and professional role model to staff. Develops a team approach within the department. Works with Administration, Faculty and Staff on scheduling and set up of events and demonstrates appropriate delegation and supervision of tasks and duties for events and campus activities. Assures department follows policies and procedures, regulatory requirements are met, as well as the standards of Pacific Union College (including documentation for these as required). Provides leadership as needed in emergency situations. Demonstrates effective time management by completing commitments within negotiated time frames. Ensures the availability of needed supplies, paper, and cleaning products for campus. Provides for clean, organized and safe environment by assuring quality control activities are performed and appropriate actions taken as needed.
Experience: Desirable Qualifications:
• 3-5 years previous work related experience preferred, with Management experience preferred.
• Experience in carpet cleaning and be IICRC certified
