Mile High Academy is looking to hire a Music Teacher for the 2018 -19 school year. This individual will have direct oversight and responsibility for our Music Program P-12th grade. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Adventist Christian Education, a lifelong learner and has a visible relationship with Jesus. We are searching for someone who knows how to work with a diverse community of learners, an active parent community, and passionate teachers.
Mile High Academy is a P-12th-grade school located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado just outside of Denver. MHA believes that teachers are the heart of our school. You will be given the opportunity to not only lead in a premier Adventist school, but the #3 ranked Christian school in the Denver area as well as the #2 Most Diverse Private School in Colorado. MHA is focused on educating the whole person through 21st learning, brain research, flexible learning philosophy, real-world learning (project-based learning) and solid core academics. You will be joining an outstanding team of educators who are passionate about their work and love their students.
MHA has 245 students enrolled with a capacity of 20 students in each class. MHA has a great team of educators and a strong Administrative team, and as we are growing, we are trying to find ways to help our community stay connected.

Experience: Bachelors degree in Education or something similar. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy.
