Description: Description: Auburn Adventist Academy is currently seeking to hire an experienced VP of Finance that will directly oversee all business operations for the institution. This candidate will need to work in collaboration with principal, the Auburn Board of Trustees, and the conference office to develop and implement the management of all finance-related activities for the school. The VP of Finance will have oversight over payroll, legal contracts, the student labor department, the campus industrial park, campus faculty and residential holdings, and be involved in the strategic planning processes for the school. This individual will also give regular reports to the academy board, the conference executive committee, and other venues. This position reports directly to the principal. Other duties and responsibilities to be assigned as needed to meet the needs of an active boarding school.
Experience: Experience: The ideal candidate will have an earned degree in the area of business finance with preference given to those with MPA or CPA level training. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience leading out in a business office. We are looking an individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, a deep spiritual connection with Jesus, and a love for the students at Auburn Adventist Academy. A candidate must also be a member in good standing in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and possess the legal right to work in the United States.
