Description: Milo Adventist Academy is situated on the edge of the Umpqua National Forest in rural Southern Oregon with an enrollment hovering around 100 students. Milo's Music Director will exercise broad abilities in conducting both mass and select choirs, band/orchestra, and a handbell choir. Individual music lessons and participation in regional music association events are also an important part of the program. Expressing Milo's joy for service, the music department will share Sabbath Services at several constituent churches throughout the Oregon Conference during the school year. Typical duties of a boarding academy staff member such as supervision and sponsorships may also be included.
Experience: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher along with a valid denominational teaching certificate and subject endorsement(s) or ability to obtain them in concert with the principal. Endorsements in multiple subject areas is desirable.
