Description: The Director for Human Resources reports to the Vice President for Financial Administration. The director coordinates all aspects of the HR office; administering, implementing and developing programs. This includes faculty & staff new hire process, knowledge of the Visa and immigration process when required, new employee orientation, administering online training courses, compensation annual reviews, job classification and descriptions, annual performance management, benefits administration, healthcare coordination, retirement plan contributions, service records and retirement processing. Additionally the director serves on search committees as requested, reviews payroll expense reports, maintains and updates SDA licenses and credentials and is knowledgeable on federal, state and denominational employment requirements.

Experience: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Previous denomination HR experience preferred.
Minimal travel required.
Strong computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
