Description: School-based Mental Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services related to the delivery of mental health care to students, both assigned and observed, as well as providing consultation and training to the staff to support the overall mental health goals for the students of Indiana Academy. This is a critical position that can provide a tremendous support to our students and further the gospel mission of Indiana Academy. Experience: The ideal candidate will possess solid and friendly communication skills, an ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality with diverse student groups, and be comfortable working with cases of depression, anxiety, and trauma as necessary. Be willing to have flexible hours to meet with students as their schedule allows, including some evenings. Masters degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited university or college. Maintain licensed eligibility to provide mental health services in the state of Indiana. Attain and maintain an Indiana state Driver’s License with an ability to transport students with adequate insurance coverage as required by the Indiana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Be an active and supportive member of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
