Description: Wage Rate: Salary; Commensurate upon degree and experience
The Director of Operations for Howell Mountain Enterprises (HME) provides administrative oversight of Ace Hardware, Howell Mountain Market & Deli, Chevron, and the Copy Center as well as all future for-profit business entities. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of people, and other resources within HME. The position is also responsible for growth initiatives and entrepreneurial ventures that align with the mission of HME and its core businesses. This position also supports, leads, monitors and directs the operational performance of HME to ensure a high quality experience for customers.
The HME Director of Operations has four direct reports: Manager of Ace Hardware, Manager of Howell Mountain Market & Deli, Manager of the Chevron Gas Station, and Manager of the College Copy Center.

Experience: -BS/BA degree in Business Administration, or related field required. MBA preferred.
-3 years experience in retail, hardware, or grocery store lead manager/operations management preferred
-Project Management, Entrepreneurial, Organized, Efficient, Self-Starter, Critical thinking, Strong Verbal/Writing skills, Excellent Presentation Skills.
