Description: Discoveryland Child Development Center is 30 years strong and growing!
We are searching for Teachers to start as soon as possible so we can open our doors to more families. We currently serve 74 families a day. We would like to serve 5-10 more families.
Infant Teachers are needed!
If you are passionate about serving families of young children, come join our team. We are a non-profit Christian child development center.
We hire well qualified teachers who are creative and caring! Highscope is our curriculum base. We develop our weekly classroom curriculum according to the current needs and interests of each child as well as what is developmentally appropriate for all in the classroom! We keep our days filled with hands on opportunities for learning and growing through play.

Starting pay depends upon education and experience usually $16.00/hour.

Experience: Must have:
High school diploma or GED
Associate’s degree or higher in early childhood education or related field-a CDA is also acceptable
2 or more years experience in a licensed child care center preferred
Previous experience as a lead teacher or caregiver is preferred
Positive, joyful, patient, professional demeanor
High level of flexibility and willingness/ability to work any shift
Committed and inclusive attitude
