Description: Spokane Valley Adventist School has an opening for a combined Kindergarten/First grade classroom. The K-1 classroom teacher is someone who is fun-loving, energetic, creative, organized, caring and a person who loves Jesus. The teacher establishes and maintains control of the classroom, is adaptable to the students’ needs, and has a passion for this grade level. SVAS teachers work together as a team to accomplish the many needs of a small school, so a team player is essential. Our school conveys a family atmosphere, and our students focus on respecting and encouraging each other. Spokane Valley Adventist School is a small three-teacher school located in Spokane Valley near the Washington/Idaho border. Our area offers a variety of recreational activities, including biking, camping, hiking, boating and skiing.

Experience: The ideal candidate has experience teaching Kindergarten-First grade and holds current SDA and/or state teaching certificate(s).
