Description: Teach courses in both graduate and undergraduate departments of the School. Maintain regular office hours as stipulated in the Faculty Handbook. Attend all departmental/school meetings as well as the University’s faculty assembly. Serve on campus committees as stipulated in the Faculty Handbook. Engage in professional development activities. Apply expertise in service to the institution, church, academic and the wider community. Engage in ongoing research/scholarship in respective discipline. Provide mentorship, academic and career advising for students. Perform such other duties as shall be assigned by the chair and/or dean.
Experience: D.Min degree, or its equivalent, in practical theology/ Christian ministry from an accredited institution recognized by Oakwood University. Must hold, or be eligible to hold a ministerial license or credentials as an ordained/commissioned minister. Minimum 5 years experience as local church pastor or other from of denominationally approved ministry. Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
