Description: Position Description: The candidate with the best fit for this position is deeply spiritual and creative. We are seeking a person with experience and love for teaching. More specifically, the position available is for an individual who desires to teach middle school students (6, 7 and perhaps 8th). The ideal candidate will need experience with STEM activities (robotics, science fairs, math games, coding, etc.). We are especially interested in someone who understands the process of RTI (response to intervention). Teachers are prized, respected, appreciated, encouraged, supported, and stretched at GMAA. Other: The Greater Memphis Adventist Academy will celebrate its 100th year in 2020. The school serves the metro Memphis, TN area. The school is operated by a newly-enthusiastic constituency of six churches. The city of Memphis is very family-friendly with numerous wholesome options for recreation, culture, and personal development.

Experience: Qualification & Experience: NAD elementary teaching certification is required. A preferred qualified candidate will need at least 1-3 years of successful teaching experience. We are looking for someone who has experience with implementing data-driven instruction, operating in a goal-oriented teaching environment and knows how to inspire students to excellence.
