Description: Napa Christian Campus of Education is a K-12 school in Napa, California. NCCE is looking for a full-time middle school teacher to work in our K - 8 CONQUESTS project-based program. The ideal candidate is one who has taught 7th and 8th grade in a multi-classroom setting. Napa Christian has a standards based/project-based program which includes gardening, farming, carpentry, and an intentional focus on outdoor play which could include water, paint, mud, logs, etc. Any educator interested in working at our wonderful school must be willing to undergo extensive training with the principal and lead teacher in order to understand our unique philosophy and environment. Napa Christian seeks a qualified teacher to help every student grow like Jesus grew, with grace, wisdom, strength, maturity, and favor with others.
Experience: We seek applications from individuals with a passion to guide students into a relationship with Jesus alongside their colleagues; qualified to implement the NAD curriculum; and experienced teaching in a multi-grade setting. Applicants need to be committed to the mission of Adventist Education, an active SDA church member, eligible to work in the United States. (Hold current work visa and residency in the US if not a US citizen.) The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 1) holds or is qualified to receive NAD teaching certification, Basic, Standard, or Professional, with an Elementary Education endorsement; 2) a team player; 3) maintains a spiritual presence and commitment; 4) has a passion for the development of young people and is on fire for Jesus Christ; 5) knowledgeable in elementary curriculum; 6) possesses the skills of organization, follow-through, and communication.
