Description: Summary The Director of Alumni Engagement and Stewardship is responsible for implementing a comprehensive alumni program, assisting in the philanthropic fundraising efforts of Pacific Union College and providing consistent donor recognition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Attend weekly team meetings to strategize donor engagement opportunities Cultivates alumni relationships for on-going involvement and financial support to the College. Coordinates a meaningful, experiential Homecoming event annually Manages an Alumni Council to assist with planning Homecoming and increase alumni engagement. Coordinated recognition of Honored Alumni and Honored Pioneers (ordering awards, preparing awardee profiles, arranging travel and Homecoming participation). Coordinates honored class engagement and special events at Homecoming in collaboration with honored class leadership. Supports the Annual Fund program by encouraging honored class reunion gifts. Serves as department liaison in working with donor families and heirs interested in making endowed scholarships to the college Coordinated department participation in annual Awards Colloquy Assists with student thank you note writing to donors and annual letter from the Vice President of Alumni & Advancement to endowed scholarship donors Conceptualizes and implements a Young Alumni program working with the Annual Fund coordinator including annual events (during the school year) Serves as an alumni liaison in campus activities and community relations. Works with PUC senior class officers and Annual Fund coordinator to create a “First Gift” opportunity (participants get a stole to wear during graduation) Works with campus departments to arrange for alumni campus visits and stays (concierge service) Volunteer in the local community. Monitors and updates the alumni website including the alumni event calendar on the PUC web site and promotes communication with alumni of all ages coordinating with the annual fund coordinator and the database manager. Works with the office of the President to plan and organize up to 10 annual alumni receptions annually (working with president’s schedule, music department and recruitment team) Oversees the President’s Circle giving society, providing recognition, engagement and appeal pieces Coordinate 3 annual President’s Circle events, including the luncheon event in December, on the day of the PUC Music Department Christmas Concert Coordinate social media interaction for alumni engagement with data manager Coordinate stewardship/recognition plan with VP of Alumni and Advancement for all donor levels and clubs (ongoing) Responsible for managing a portfolio of 25-40 mid-level donors Works with PUC senior class officers and Annual Fund coordinator to create a “First Gift” opportunity (participants get a stole to wear during graduation) Works with campus departments to arrange for alumni campus visits and stays (concierge service) Volunteer in the local community. Strong preference given to graduates of Pacific Union College. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CFRE or Fundraising Management certification from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy desired, but not required
