This position serves as the chief student administration officer and is responsible to the President for overseeing student life as well as representing student interests to the President. Experience: • Education: Master’s degree required; Earned doctoral degree preferred. • Experience/Skills: • Possesses advanced management skills in team-building, strategic planning, goal setting and financial management. • Exhibits strong customer service skills, and a genuine desire for interacting with and motivating diverse groups of people in a variety of circumstances. • Demonstrates an exceptional ability to solve problems—exercising good judgment, maintaining an approachable and team-oriented attitude, and taking ownership of and following through with work responsibilities. • Possesses an entrepreneurial and creative work style that generates new ideas and nurtures a strong campus community. • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills. • People management: Setting clear expectations, reviewing progress, providing timely feedback, guidance and holding team members accountable.
