Description: The Northeast Georgia Christian Academy (NEGCA) is seeking a NAD certified teaching principal for our one-room school that is opening for the 2023-2024 school year. As part of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference, all one-room classrooms will be provided a full-time paraprofessional to assist with classroom duties. The school is located in Cleveland, GA about 1 hour northeast of Atlanta, GA, in the beautiful mountains of northern Georgia and 2 hours from Southern Adventist University. The Cleveland Seventh-day Adventist Church members are excited to support this school to reach the children in their community. The new school is housed in our recently remodeled church facility with an outdoor play area. The Georgia-Cumberland Conference offers the choice of a 10 or 12 month contract for all teachers. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary educator to lead and grow a new Adventist school. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, passionate individual who will inspire young minds and lead students to and in their walk with Christ. Applicants must be able to organize and implement an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success by empowering, equipping and engaging students. Being bilingual and musical would be a plus.

Georgia-Cumberland Conference offers all full-time teachers the option of 10 or 12-month remuneration. Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that right if employed. If interested in being considered, please send a copy of your current NAD certificate, your philosophy of teaching, a letter of interest, your resume - including at least three references with e-mail addresses and phone numbers, (including one from a pastor you have worked closely with) and a completed application in your own handwriting, (please copy and paste this link in your browser to download the application; https://www.gccsda.com/resources/34657), as PDF attachments to Debbie Begley, Administrative Assistant (dbegley@gccsda.com) by July 4, 2023.
