Description

Las Cruces SDA Academy is looking for a full-time multi-grade principal/teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. LCSDA Academy is currently supported by one constituent church and a very dedicated school board. LCSDAA has been operating as host school serving their students with the Griggs program. They are excited to become a fully functioning conference school through this transition. The school has 8 students in grades K-5 registered for next school year. Located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, a beautiful city that has been named one of the top ten fastest-growing cities in the U.S. and the largest city in New Mexico. It is well-loved for its pleasant, arid climate, winters tend to be mild, alternating between cool and warm, with 350 days of sunshine a year! Las Cruces is a vibrant city boasting a unique blend of ancient traditions, innovative arts, spicy cuisine, and pioneering science. It’s home to historical accomplishments in the commercial spaceflight industry where the cost of living is 4% lower than the state average and 9% lower than the national average. Las Cruces is also the home of New Mexico State University (NMSU), New Mexico's only land-grant university. The city's major employer is the federal government on nearby White Sands Test Facility and White Sands Missile Range Living in Las Cruces offers a lot of exciting opportunities, such as breathtaking views, affordable cost of living, no traffic, and fun holiday festivals and traditions and very friendly people.

Required Experience

This opening is for the 2025-2026 school year. The candidate must be in regular standing with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The candidate must be able to work in the United States at the time of application. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 1) Elementary degree; 2) Current NAD certification; 3) Willing and able to post grades and progress reports for online access; 4) Most importantly, the applicant must possess a love for God, a love for working with children, and a desire to see each child in Heaven. There is mentorship offered if needed through the conference.
