Hollister Advents Christian Elementary is seeking a dedicated, experienced and highly motivated teacher. We are a K-8 school with a supportive church community, a large, well-maintained facility, and high potential for growth. Hollister is located in an agricultural area. It is within driving distance of the Pacific Ocean, mountains and various tourist areas. We are seeking a multi-grade teacher for grades 6-8, who will work as part of a team as we continue to grow our influence in Hollister.

Applicant must be a Seventh-day Adventist church member in regular standing and eligible to work in the United States. (Hold current work visa and residency in the US if not a US citizen.). The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 1) Holds or is qualified to receive Basic, Standard, or Professional NAD teaching certification with an elementary endorsement; 2) A proven track record providing creative hands on classroom instruction in a multi grade environment; 3) Supports Adventist philosophy of education and integrates biblical principals in all learning while maintaining a spiritual presence and commitment; 4) A teacher that loves the Bible, firmly supports the Spirit of Prophecy, and will teach the children to be missionaries for God in these last days; 5) Someone that will support community outreach 6) Willing and able to post grades and progress reports for online access; 7) Supports physical education and exercise as a daily routine; 8) Being bilingual in English and Spanish would be a plus but is not a requirement; 9) Most importantly, the applicant must possess a love for God, a love for working with children, and a desire to see each child in Heaven.  Wage scale range is $48,806.50 to $82,128.81.
