Description
The adjunct faculty member in the construction management program will instruct students in a course and any associated lab(s) that align with individual expertise and experience. These courses are to encompass the theoretical and hands-on aspects of residential and commercial construction and related processes. Courses in the program include but are not limited to construction safety, plumbing, electrical, drywall and finishes, masonry and concrete, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, residential building codes, estimating, contract administration, introduction to architectural drawing, and 3-D modeling. Required Experience
Employment Qualifications: (Required) - Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with university students - Demonstrated competencies in the varied trade area(s) relevant to course content(s) - Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum in accordance with industry standards - Experience with skill/trade practices and trends; willingness to integrate new skills and technology - Bachelor’s degree in a construction management related field
