Description
Delta SDA School in Delta, Colorado is seeking a spiritually focused candidate to be head teacher and grow Adventist education in a community rich in history on the western slope of Colorado. Our facility is situated inside our church which provides support in creating a strong learning environment. Delta is 40 miles south of Grand Junction and 20 miles north of Montrose. The area was home to the Ute Indian people and filled with pioneer spirit. The Uncompahgre River and the Gunnison River meet at Confluence Park in Delta.
Required Experience

Prior teaching experience (3+ years preferred), BS or BA degree, and current NAD Certification. Individuals must have the legal right to work in the United States and provide evidence of that right if employed. 

Rocky Mountain Conference Wage Information – 10-month Teacher:

Position: Head Teacher

Immediate Supervisor: Superintendent of Education

Classification: Exempt (Professional)

Mid-American Union Remuneration Scale: 59% to 102%

Base Salary Scale: $3,259.00 to $5,634.00 per month

Cost of Living Adjustment: Based on geographic location per ERI. Please note that not all locations within the Rocky Mountain Conference are eligible for cost of living.

Starting base salary is determined after verification of denominational credentials issued by the Mid-America Union of Seventh-day Adventists and number of relevant years of teaching experience.
