Mile High Academy (MHA) is looking for two experienced, dynamic, creative, energetic, Spirit-filled educators to join our team. The school is looking to fill two middle school (6th – 8th) teacher positions. These individuals will work collaboratively with the middle school team to create a solid spiritual and academic foundation for the MHA students. The applicants must be vibrant spiritual teacher who is intentional in maximizing the full potential in every student. Building strong relationships with their students, the applicants must be innovative and creative in academic, instructional, and communication skills. Willing to learn new teaching methods, must be a team player willing to put in the extra hours needed for their students, team, and school to thrive. Additionally, the applicants must be able to cultivate positive rapport with parents and community, making service to others a top priority. MHA is in Highlands Ranch, Colorado a suburb of Denver, CO serves students in Preschool through 12th grade. MHA is supported by the surrounding churches, supportive community and an Adventist Hospital System.
Required Experience

The qualified candidates must be a committed Adventist who has teaching experience, a BS or BA degree and current NAD certification. They should be able to operate a well-organized classroom, be an exemplary teacher, and have a passion for Adventist Education.

Rocky Mountain Conference Wage Information – 10-month Teacher:

The mission of the Rocky Mountain Conference is to lovingly support and empower every member in our conference to know Christ and to make Him fully known through education, outreach, and service by communicating hope and encouraging a meaningful connection between Christ and each other.

Position: Teacher

Immediate Supervisor: Principal

Classification: Exempt (Professional)

Mid-American Union Remuneration Scale: 59% to 102%

Base Salary Scale: $3,259.00 to $5,634.00 per month

Cost of Living Adjustment: Based on geographic location per ERI. Please note that not all locations within the Rocky Mountain Conference are eligible for cost of living.

Starting base salary is determined after verification of denominational credentials issued by the Mid-America Union of Seventh-day Adventists and number of relevant years of teaching experience.
