Pacific Union College Facilities Department is seeking a well qualified Carpenter/Building Tradesman Supervisor that will ovesee Tradesmen, bidding on projects and jobs, Carpentry / Construction, Fabrication, installation, and repair of: Cabinetry / Counters Ceiling tiles Concrete Doors Floor Coverings (carpet, tile, vinyl, wood) Glass Partitions Roofs, Gutters, and Drains Stairs Wall coverings Windows / window coverings Following and enforcing safety regulations Gathering bids from outside contractors / vendors Planning and prioritizing jobs & projects Interpreting college policies and educating workers Machine and equipment set-up and operation Meeting deadlines Researching and selecting products Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality Record keeping Remodels Supervision and assigning tasks to carpentry tradespersons Supervision and management of contractors Other duties as assigned
