1-8 Teaching Position

Salmon SDA School in Salmon, ID
North Pacific Union Conference | Idaho Conference of SDA
Description

We have an opening for a teacher at our one-teacher school in Salmon, Idaho. We are looking for someone who loves to inspire young minds and has a mission to help students in their walk with Christ. Practical hands-on teaching and learning with creativity are important methods. The school has an average of 12 students. The teacher will teach all classes. An aid helps in the classroom.

At our school, you'll find a highly supportive board and church, as well as an endowment that helps support the school. The classroom is spacious, and the school even has a gym attached to the building. Located in the beautiful Lemhi River Valley of northeastern Idaho, where the Salmon River runs through it, our school is a haven for those who love outdoor activities in the national forests surrounding the area.

Required Experience

All candidates need to have their denominational certification up to date, and it is legal to work in the USA. They need to have a dynamic relationship with God and good pedological skills, including hands-on learning, science experiments, and strengths in math.  Multi-grade teaching experience is preferable but not a requirement. At present, we are not accepting applications outside of the USA. For an application form, go to www.idahoadventist.org/departments/education. Also, send a resume to Patrick Frey. Please attach four work-related references.
