Principal K-12

Amazing Grace Academy in Palmer, AK
North Pacific Union Conference | Alaska Conference of SDA
Description

Amazing Grace Academy (AGA) is seeking a dynamic Principal who is passionate about building relationships with staff, students, and the community to further grow our Christ-centered school.

AGA thrives on strong, positive relationships between the Palmer SDA Church, faculty, staff, and local families. The new Principal will step into a school with a positive culture, strong financial health, a supportive community and 15 staff members.

With strong ties to both the Palmer SDA Church and a second local church, along with about 70% of our students coming from non-Adventist families, AGA is primed for growth. Our school serves over 80 students across Pre-K to 12th grade, and we’re excited to expand our high school program, recently earning full accreditation. Additionally, AGA is connected to the 7 Adventist churches and a grade school in the Anchorage area, offering opportunities for further growth.

AGA and the Palmer SDA Church share a building, with strong support from the church pastor, board, and members. Our faculty and staff collaborate closely in a positive team environment.

Located in the scenic Matanuska-Susitna Valley in Palmer, Alaska, AGA offers stunning mountain views and countless outdoor recreation opportunities. Whether you enjoy hiking, skiing, fishing, or photography, this is the ideal location for nature enthusiasts.

Why Alaska?

  • Winter days are only slightly shorter than Seattle, with more sunshine and snow.
  • AGA is under an hour from Anchorage and the airport.

  • Easy access to Costco, Fred Meyer, Walmart, Target, Michaels, and more.
