Spencerville Adventist Academy (SAA) is a diverse, 400+ student PK-12th grade school. We value our Adventist foundations and pursue academic excellence at all age levels. Our school is housed in a beautiful, modern facility set in a prime location--just 30 minutes north of Washington DC and close to the GC, NAD, Columbia Union, and three Adventist hospitals. SAA has one constituent church, Spencerville Seventh-day Adventist Church, that is an active participant in the life of our school.

We are seeking a highly motivated Religion Teacher to join our Secondary program to teach 9th and 11th grade Bible classes and serve as the Middle School Chaplain. The ideal candidate will have a biblical worldview; intentionally incorporate project-based learning opportunities; employ a standards-based approach to lesson development; and consistently differentiate instruction to increase student achievement. Required Experience
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in education with a Religion endorsement and current NAD Certification. It is preferred that the candidate have a Master’s degree in education and 3 years of successful Religion instruction experience. Must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Must be authorized to work in the USA.
