Riverview Christian Academy (RCA) serving Reno and the surrounding area is growing and adding an elementary teacher to their team starting with the 2026-2027 school year. The school plans to have two grade levels per class, however, the specific combination (i.e. 1-2, 3-4, 5-6) will be considered to best align with the teacher's strengths and best fit. The mission of RCA is to show children Jesus, nurture their love for others, teach them to think, and empower them to serve. The school shares a campus with the Riverview Seventh-day Adventist Church where the students lead praise music once a month. The students participate in many outdoor activities including a school picnic at Donner Lake and ski days. RCA is a part of the Nevada-Utah Conference which provides teachers with four personal days each year. RCA is located in Reno, NV. With an average of 252 days of sunshine per year, Reno is the perfect place to experience God’s wonderful environment. Residents enjoy hiking, biking, backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, four wheeling, and many other outdoor activities.

We are seeking candidates committed to the ministry of Adventist Education as we grow loving followers of Jesus. 

Qualified candidates will...

• be active members in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church 
• have a minimum of a bachelor's degree 
• hold or be able to obtain a NAD teaching credential 
• have teaching experience, preferably in a multi-grade setting 
• pass a background check 
• currently have the legal right to work in the United States
