Description

The primary focus of the faculty member will be teaching accounting in the business core and major emphasis courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, drawing on industry experience in the for-profit sector to bring course content to life. Required Experience
  • Hold an earned doctorate degree in accounting; or a doctoral degree in a related field with a master’s degree in accounting (i.e. MAcc or MSA)
  • Active CPA, CMA, CIA, or CGMA licensure or certification
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in the for-profit sector in either corporate or public accounting
  • Evidence of ability to work as part of an effective team as a leader or follower
  • Evidence of strong interpersonal communication skills and desire to positively contribute to a collegial environment and organizational goals
  • Commitment to teach assigned courses from a Biblical worldview
  • Commitment to integrate Christian faith and biblical principles as reflected in Seventh-day Adventist beliefs teaching in personal conduct and interactions both in and out of the classroom
