Eastwood Seventh-day Adventist Junior Academy (EJA) is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven educator to join our faculty as a 5th Grade Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. As the 5th Grade Teacher at EJA, your primary objective is the restoration of the image of God in every student. Simultaneously, you will lead your students into the future by implementing educational best practices. We prioritize Inquiry-Based Learning and Differentiated Instruction, ensuring that every student’s individual growth is nurtured. You will move beyond traditional lectures to become a facilitator of discovery, turning your classroom into a hub for Grit and Collaboration. Whether students are troubleshooting a complex math problem or iterating a collaborative science project, they will learn to see challenges as opportunities to develop the mental and spiritual strength God intended for them.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (minimum).
• Current NAD Teacher Certification (or immediate eligibility to obtain it).
• Baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (No VISA sponsorship is available for this position).
• Successful background check and clearance per Ohio Conference and North American Division requirements.
• Team-Player Mentality: A proven ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, parents, and church leadership.
