Description
Fortuna Junior Academy is looking for an energetic, Christ-centered teacher/principal for grades 1-8. The school campus includes a large gymnasium, woodshop, and garden. It is close to the beautiful and breath-taking Redwood forests and minutes away from the Pacific Ocean. The 2024-2025 school year will mark the 100th anniversary of Seventh-Day Adventist education in Humboldt county at Fortuna, CA.
Required Experience
The ideal candidate will be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. They hold a current SDA teaching certification/credentials and multi-grade teaching experience is helpful. Experience with learners with diverse needs is desirable.
