Teach a full load of courses in chaplaincy, participate and lead out in chaplaincy activities for the Seminary, oordinate masters and doctoral chaplaincy concentrations, advise and provide mentorship to chaplaincy students and non-degree students seeking academic requirement for chaplaincy endorsement, and provide advocacy and leadership in area of the healthcare and urban ministry chaplaincy concentrations, to the Seminary and the Seventh-day Adventist Church, both locally and globally. Required Experience
An earned doctorate in chaplaincy or a closely-related discipline. Endorsed or seeking endorsement by Adventist Chaplaincy Ministry. Preferably a Board-Certified Chaplain. Preferably a minimum of four CPE units. Significant pastoral/chaplaincy ministry experience. Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to collaborate well with colleagues; and a disposition conducive to interacting positively with student and staff. Capacity to communicate effectively and dynamically both on popular and professional levels. Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
