"If you love teaching the Bible and watching students grow in their walk with the Lord, this call is for you! In this position, you will be involved in all aspects of teaching the Bible including lesson planning, grading, classroom management, counseling, instruction, supervision and other extra curricular activities as assigned by administration. By precept and example, you will seek to uphold Christ as friend and Lord and will endeavor to lead students to a similar understanding. Chuuk State is located in the country of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and consists of many beautiful tropical island atolls. Our Chuuk SDA School is located close to the capital city of Weno on the island of Moen in a small fenced compound that also includes the Weno Seventh-day Adventist Church and the school's volunteer staff housing. This PreK-12 school usually has more than 200 students taught by AVS missionaries and local teachers. Chuuk SDA School belongs to the Guam-Micronesia Mission, is part of the North American Division (NAD) and follows NAD curriculum.

Applicants should be committed Seventh-day Adventist Christians who attend church regularly. Applicants should have at least a Bachelor's degree and current NAD certification, or be willing to acquire that certification.
