If you love teaching math, Pohnpei SDA School is looking for 2 qualified teachers to teach high school math. Our Pohnpei SDA School is located on the main island, called Pohnpei, where the FSM capital is also located at the village of Palikir. Our campus contains housing for volunteer staff. This K-12 school is a blessing to over 300 students taught by AVS missionaries and local teachers. Pohnpei SDA School is an organization of the Guam-Micronesia Mission (GMM) and GMM is part of the North American Division (NAD) and follows NAD curriculum. Pohnpei State, one of 4 states in the country of the Federated States of Micronesia, consists of several beautiful tropical islands and atolls. This position will allow the applicant to be involved in all aspects of teaching math classes, including lesson planning, grading, classroom arrangement, counseling, instruction, supervision and some extra-curricular activities.

Applicants should be committed Seventh-day Adventist Christians who attend church regularly. Applicants should have at least a Bachelor's degree and current NAD certification, or be willing to acquire that certification.
