The Associate Chaplain provides faith engagement opportunities and spiritual care for students, advising and equipping faculty and staff, enriching the spiritual and intellectual life of the campus, assists in building a vibrant University community of faith and learning, and helps further the lofty mission of Andrews University to Seek Knowledge, Affirm Faith and Change the World. The Associate Chaplain does this work as an integral part of the Andrews University Center for Faith Engagement (CFE), grounded in the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. MDiv degree is preferred. Masters Degree in a relevant field is required. Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Credit(s) is preferred. Demonstrated passion & effectiveness for the faith development of young adults is required. Demonstrated proficient cultural fluency & experience in serving a diverse population is required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience is required. Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
