The Ebeye Seventh-day Adventist School (ESDAS) is looking for a vice principal who will enrich the lives of the students with the love of Jesus as he leads the school! ESDAS is an organization of the Guam-Micronesia Mission (GMM), and GMM is part of the North American Division (NAD) and follows NAD curriculum. Will be responsible to assist the principal in all academic affairs, management of school/campus issues on campus, oversight of all grounds and maintenance needs, regular communication with the GMM Education department including the submission of requested documents and information, participation at all duty-called principals' meetings, etc. all in cooperation with the local school board. This person will also be involved with religious activities on campus and in their local church. By precept and example the employee will seek to uphold Christ as Friend and Lord and will endeavor to lead students to a similar understanding. Ebeye is a small, heavily-populated island in the Kwajalein Atoll within the country of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Our 3-story PreK-12 school, serving over 300 students, is located in a small, fenced compound with an ocean view toward the east and within walking distance to the 2-story staff housing to the south. Visitors land on the nearby island of Kwajalein and then are transported by ferry to the pier at Ebeye.
Required Experience
Applicants should be committed Seventh-day Adventist Christians who attend church regularly. Applicants should have at least a Bachelor's degree and current NAD certification, or be willing to acquire that certification.
