Chetco Adventist Christian School, located on the southern Oregon coast, is seeking a gr. 1-8 teacher/principal for the 2024-25 school year and beyond. Chetco School is newly opening for fall in the lower level of the church. Located in the beautiful town of Brookings, Oregon, the school is just six miles north of the California border on Highway 101 in Oregon’s Banana Belt. Here, you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, the redwoods, sunsets on the beach, and more. Chetco School is looking for a personable, relational, professional, organized, and creative gr.1-8 teacher who truly loves Jesus to teach the students and lead the school with the support of the dedicated school board and church members. Required Experience
To be considered for this position, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and current NAD Elementary certification, or willingness to work toward such. The ideal applicant will have multigrade teaching experience and have some familiarity with or training in standards-based learning. He or she must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy.
