Description
The instructional faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. They are responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend in any of the schools within Washington Adventist University as assigned. The faculty performs all other duties as directed by the Department Chair, Dean, Provost or the President or designee.

Education and/or Experience: - Graduate degree or terminal degree in relevant subject is required. Doctoral or terminal degrees preferred. Language Skills: - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. - Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from students, regulatory agencies, or members of the academic community. - Ability to effectively present information to various audiences. Interpersonal Skills - Strong interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated commitment to collegiality. - Ability to solve problems Mathematical and Technology Skills: - Knowledge and use of computer and its applications. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Reasoning Ability: - Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. - Ability to deal with non-verbal symbolism. - Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
