The School of Journalism and Communication is seeking an experienced, qualified individual to bring his or her creativity, energy, and academic and professional excellence to the SJC. The successful candidate will have teaching and/or industry experience (preferably both) and be able to teach a variety of courses in digital and social media, communication, writing, public speaking, and/or photography. In addition, the successful candidate will have industry specific accomplishments to support his or her qualifications or else strong research skills. Education: Master’s degree in Communication or a sub-field of Communication (i.e., Public Relations, Strategic or Visual Communication, Speech, Advertising, Photography) required (Ph.D. preferred). Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience or 3+ years of teaching experience.
