Miami Union Adventist Academy is seeking an experienced, mission-driven School Business Manager to join our administrative leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to serve in a growing Christian school community in South Florida and help strengthen the financial and operational foundation that supports our students, faculty, staff, and mission.

The School Business Manager provides leadership in the effective stewardship of the school's financial, physical, and operational resources. Grounded in Biblical principles of integrity, accountability, and faithful stewardship, this individual will work closely with the Principal, Administrative Team, Finance Committee, School Board, and other stakeholders to support MUAA's strategic priorities and continued growth.

Primary areas of responsibility include financial and resource management, budgeting and financial reporting, facilities and property management, health and safety, information systems oversight, vendor and contractual relationships, and support-staff operations. The Business Manager also plays an important role in strategic planning, operational improvement, and identifying opportunities to strengthen the school's long-term financial sustainability.

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in business administration, accounting, finance, management, or a related field required.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in business management, finance, accounting, operations, or a closely related leadership role.
• Previous experience in a school, nonprofit, church, or educational environment preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, resource management, and organizational operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with administrators, employees, parents, church leaders, vendors, and governing bodies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and navigate challenging situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage projects and deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical financial stewardship, confidentiality, accountability, and Christian professionalism.
• Ability to contribute strategically to the continued growth and development of Miami Union Adventist Academy.
• Must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and supportive of the beliefs, mission, and educational philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist Christian education.
• Must be willing to maintain active membership and participation within an MUAA constituent church.
