Campion Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Director to lead our dining program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, a commitment to nutritional balance, and the ability to inspire and lead a team. The job description includes:

• Developing and implementing menus (21 per week) that meet nutritional guidelines, dietary restrictions, and student preferences.
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including sourcing ingredients, cooking, and presentation.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting to ensure cost-effective operation of the dining program.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to all health codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with school administrators, faculty, and students to gather feedback and continuously improve the dining experience.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in food service and nutrition.

• Bachelor’s degree in food service management/nutrition preferred.
• Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a boarding school setting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nutrition principles and dietary requirements.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs and priorities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Food Service Assistants

Classification: Exempt

Mid-American Union Remuneration Scale: 81% to 102%

Base Salary Scale: $4,474.44 to $5,634.48 per month
