Description

The Principal/Headmaster is the Chief Executive Officer of the Academy and is charged with providing leadership that maintains and forwards Pine Forge Academy’s commitment to excellence as well as provides a vision for the future. The Principal/Headmaster is directly responsible to the Board of Trustees and the Allegheny East Conference Superintendent.

Required Experience

Qualifications:
• Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Advanced degree certification in Educational Administration & Leadership or in an appropriate content area with an Ed.D./Ph.D. desirable
• Local Fingerprint, Background & Sterling Volunteers clearance
 

Requirements:
• Appropriate regular teacher and administrative certificates
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience as Principal/Asst. Principal on a secondary level
• A visionary, focused on community outreach.
• Proven instructional leader, capable of helping teachers achieve appropriate academic outcomes.
• A demonstrated ability to use appropriate data in decision making.
• Effective verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Effective enrollment building, fundraising and business management.
