Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to nurturing our students' love for English and Language Arts, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in these subjects and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging English curricula that meet the needs of all students.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods and digital resources to enhance learning experiences.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into the curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental, school-wide, and extracurricular activities as required.
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging environment conducive to learning.
  • Stay current with developments in education, particularly in English and Language Arts.

Required Experience
  • Required certification in English.
  • Master’s Degree in English, Education, or related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in teaching English at the high school level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of Rio Lindo Adventist Academy.
  • Ability to work in the United States and provide proof of that right.
