Candidates will be committed to the mission of Adventist Education, relish the opportunity to teach in an urban area of New Orleans and thoroughly enjoy guiding students into a lifetime of learning and a relationship with God.  Applicants must be active Seventh-day Adventist church members eligible to work in the United States.  (Hold current work visa and residency in the US if not a US citizen.) 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:  1) holds or is qualified to receive NAD teaching certification, Basic, Standard, or Professional, with an Elementary Education endorsement;  2) a team player;  3) maintains a spiritual presence and commitment;  4) has a passion for the development of young people and is on fire for Jesus Christ;  5) knowledgeable in elementary curriculum;  6) possesses the skills of organization, follow-through, and communication; 7) most importantly, the applicant must possess a love for God, a love for working with children, and a desire to see each child in Heaven.
