Martin Luther King Junior Christian Academy (MLKJCA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Teacher to join our mission-driven team. This position primarily includes teaching Math and Science, with the possibility of additional subjects as assigned. The role also involves student supervision, club sponsorships, and other responsibilities as designated by the principal.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Adventist Education, committed to nurturing students spiritually and academically, and excited to serve in an urban educational setting in Baton Rouge. We are looking for someone who finds joy in guiding young minds toward academic excellence and a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizen or valid U.S. work visa and residency)
• Holds or is eligible to obtain a North American Division (NAD) teaching certificate (Basic, Standard, or Professional) with an Elementary Education endorsement
