Multigrade Elementary Teacher

North Star Christian School in Hermon, ME
Atlantic Union Conference | Northern New England Conference
Description

Are you looking to be a part of a young, vibrant, and growing school and church community – that comes with a little adventure on the side? Would you like to join a movement, in one of North America’s most beautiful regions, that is growing young people to join God’s mission in the most secular region in America? North Star Christian School, in Bangor, Maine, is seeking a qualified multigrade elementary teacher who would like to be a part of its growing and exciting future. North Star recently became a two-teacher school because of exciting growth, the result of intentional efforts by the church five years ago to re-orient itself around mission and community-engagement. As a result, the church has seen significant growth and become a young, vibrant, missional, family-centric church, which has had wonderful consequences for the school. Located in the heart of Maine, close to lots of wonderful outdoor adventures, the city of Bangor, Maine’s third largest city, offers the best of all worlds: all the amenities a small city offers and yet close to some of America’s most beautiful places – Acadia National Park, Baxter State Park (home to Mt. Katahdin, which is the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail), and many more. Come be a part of an exciting adventure!
