Located in Michigan's forested Upper Peninsula on the shores of Lake Superior, Marquette harbors a community distinguished by its natural surroundings--from rushing waterfall and rock formations to scenic vistas and dense hardwoods.  Boasting a long list of hiking and biking trails, expansive waterways for kayaking & boating, and much more.  


The school is located in a quaint, one-room setup, directly connected to the church, fostering a close-knit community atmosphere. The ideal candidate would not only possess a deep understanding of the NAD K-8 curriculum but also exude a passionate commitment to Adventist education, demonstrating a desire to not only maintain but also enhance the school's educational standards. The church leadership is actively engaged in envisioning growth for both the school and the church community, and they are eager to collaborate closely with the incoming teacher, aligning visions and resources to support the school's development and ensure a thriving future.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate possess NAD certification.  Candidates should be strong Seventh-day Adventists in good and regular standing. Teachers should embrace and espouse the core of Adventist Education as reflected in the book, "Education" by Ellen White. They should be passionate about bringing students to Christ each day and equipping them to be missionaries for Him.
