Decatur Adventist Junior Academy is growing, growing. Located in lovely Stone Mountain, GA, we are housed in a lovely K-8th grade building. We are seeking to hire a middle school teacher (7th & 8th grade). You will love joining this school family, friendly church and charming community. The ideal candidate is a competent, caring, Christian - eager and willing to inspire young minds to learn. The ideal candidate will prepare appropriate weekly lesson plans, incorporating strong classroom management and technology to enhance instruction, and ability to teach to multiple types of learners. Effective teacher/parental partnering through timely communication (e.g., posting of assignments, grades, conferencing). Collaborative work and team player. Present a positive image of the school to others and to the community.
