Shoreline Christian School is seeking a teaching principal for the 2024-25 school year and beyond who will teach grades 4-8. Located on the coast in Florence, Oregon, Shoreline Christian School is a kindergarten to gr.8 Adventist school with one other full-time teacher and a part-time kindergarten teacher. Shoreline is looking for a caring, professional, organized, creative teacher who loves Jesus and who has strong leadership abilities to teach the students and lead the school with the support of the dedicated staff and school board. Florence offers freshwater lakes and miles of coastal sand dunes as well as landmarks like Heceta Head Lighthouse and Sea Lion Caves—perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors.

To be considered for this position, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and current NAD Elementary certification, or willingness to work toward such. The ideal applicant will have multigrade teaching experience and have some familiarity with or training in standards-based learning as well as leadership experience or training. He or she must be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy.
