Ozark Adventist Academy is looking to hire a Vice Principal.  The position will be responsible for leading Professional Learning Communities, professional development, and curriculum development. It also includes assisting teachers in evaluating MAP and ACT data to drive the curriculum to improve student learning outcomes.  As Vice Principal, the position will be an integral part of strategic planning and execution.

Ozark Adventist Academy (www.ozarkacademy.org), located in Gentry, Arkansas, currently serves about 120 students.  The campus sits on more than 200 acres with Flint Creek flowing through the campus. The community has many resources. City Lake Park with mountain biking trails, disc golf, nature trails, a small lake, and a pump track is less than three miles from the academy.  The Illinois River, about 15 minutes away, is a great place for canoe trips and also has two kayak parks. The Bentonville area has Crystal Bridges Art Museum and world-class bike trails that host the UCI Cyclocross Championship.  The possibilities to engage your family or our students are endless.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in curriculum development and implementation, MAP and ACT data analysis, teacher supervision and development, as well as standards-based education. Must be eligible to work in the US.
