Description

Antelope Valley Adventist School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic grades 3-4 teacher for their departmentalized  school program.  Duties to include teaching grades 3-4 as well as other subjects as needed. Student supervision, sponsorships and additional tasks may also be assigned by the principal.  Antelope Valley Adventist School  is located in Lancaster, California, a beautiful community in close proximity to beaches, mountains, and innumerable Southern California cultural and entertainment venues.  

Required Experience

Candidates must be committed, practicing Seventh-day Adventists who believe that Christian Education is a mission and a calling. Applicants must be willing to mentor students to Christ and share God's love and grace on a daily basis. Must hold NAD multiple subject teaching certificate, be an energetic, flexible team player, be familiar with elementary/middle school curriculum, be organized, able to follow-through, and be an excellent communicator.  Looking for a person who loves God and children and isn’t afraid to show that love in words and actions.  Must be able to legally work in the United States.
